POWER OF HIS BLOOD

Romans 6:23 (NKJV) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sin has brought death into our world.  In this verse, it says that the wages of sin, is death.  Well, one thing I can tell you is that we were all “good sinners” before we knew Christ, if you know what I mean.  But once we accepted Jesus into our lives, He gave us the power to overcome sin.

Sin does not have to gain the victory in our lives, because God’s gift is so much greater than the devil’s power.  When we accept God’s gift of grace, it brings justification into our lives, and justification means that God, my loving Father, sees me just as if I have never sinned.

Can you imagine that today?  You are totally free from all guilt and condemnation.  Never do I have to go through a day looking over my shoulder thinking that God is going to get me for that.  As the old song goes, “What can wash me white as snow?  Nothing but the blood of Jesus.”

The blood of Jesus has washed us of all present sins, and sins that we might commit 10 years from now.  His blood is all-powerful, and His love for us is amazing.  So today, do not walk around with a weight on your back.  Walk like a King’s kid.  Walk knowing who you are in Christ Jesus.  See yourself free!

You might say, “Well, I do not feel free.”  Well, what do feelings have to do with it?  The Bible teaches us that we walk by faith, and not by sight.  His blood has washed us, so we are washed, cleansed, justified, and set free.  It does not matter how I feel about it.  What matters is what He has said about it.

When a judge in a court case says, “Not guilty,” that person is released from whatever charges were brought against him.  It is the same with us.  When the courts of heaven stated that we have received the free gift of pardon that can only come through Jesus Christ, then we are released to live like free men.  I declare it, so now you do the same thing.

Declare today this confession over yourself:

CONFESSION:  Jesus Christ has justified me by His blood.  Today, I am free, I am guiltless, and I am justified.  In the courts of heaven, there is no sin on me, because the blood of Jesus has made me white as snow!
