Esther 4:14 (NKJV) For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
Do you ever wonder why you were born in this generation? We could have been born during the ancient Roman era, or during the Wild West, or any time throughout history. But God, our Abba Father, chose for us to be born here in the 21st century, and it is because He has a great plan for us that we could not have fulfilled in any other time period.
I believe that we are a very special people. We are born at this time, with all the problems and all the confusion that is in the world today, for a reason. I believe that we might be the group of people that will see the return of Jesus Christ, the King and Lord of the earth. With that responsibility, also comes great empowerment!
Our Father would not have put us here on the earth when satan is going wild, without the power to control him. He has given us the power, and it is through His Word, through His Name, and through the power of the Holy Spirit. He has given us all of these.
God has empowered us for such a time as this. So it is so important not to get caught up in the things of this world, but to get caught up in His presence. Get as close to your Abba Father as you can. Be filled with His Word and His Spirit, and live a life separated from this world, yet still in this world to help and to be a blessing.
Today, be a part of this world to help change it for God’s glory. Stay close to Him, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Remember, you are here in this period of time to do something great for the Kingdom of God!
Confession: I am alive today for a reason. I am here because God, my Father, has chosen me to be alive at this exact time in world events. He has empowered me to overcome anything that the enemy might throw at me. I am here to be a blessing.
