OUR FATHER IS EVERYWHERE

Psalm 139:7-10 (NKJV) 7 Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? 8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there; if I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, 10 even there Your hand shall lead me, and Your right hand shall hold me.

God, our Heavenly Father, is everywhere.  Perhaps that may worry some people, but one thing we need to know is that He is everywhere to help and bless us.  God, our Father, is not like some earthly fathers that are looking for their kids to make a mistake.  No, He is looking to see all the good things we do!

When we understand that God sees us through Christ, it changes everything.  Christ is perfect, and God sees me through Christ’s perfection.  It is like God wears red colored glasses, so every time He sees me, He sees me washed in the blood of Jesus.

What this does to us is it gives us the freedom to get to know Him.  We are not always looking over our shoulder and thinking, “God is waiting for me to blow it.”  We can say, “No matter where I am, He is here to comfort me, to love me, and to fellowship with me.”  That gets rid of all the fear, and puts intimacy with God in its place.  How sweet is that?

Confession: My Heavenly Father is everywhere at all times.  So today, I can fellowship with Him in the car, or while I am walking.  I can talk with Him while I am eating, and while I am sitting around.  He loves it, and so do I.  Getting to know Him is the greatest part of living!
